The absence of big-hitter Rinku Singh from India's main squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the Americas came as a surprise to many, including former cricketers Irfan Pathan and Aaron Finch. Regarding Shubman Gill's placement in the reserves, Gavaskar attributed it to his inconsistent IPL performance, suggesting that his form directly impacted his team's success.
