The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that the West Bengal Madhyamik (Class 10) result 2024 will be unveiled during a press conference on May 2 at 9 AM. Following this announcement, students who appeared for the Class 10 board examinations in 2024 will be able to access their results starting at 9:45 am. This year, nearly 8.76 lakh students took the class 10 exam, which was conducted between February 2 and February 12.
Upon the release of the results, candidates can utilize their admit card number and date of birth as a username and password to check both the results and download the marksheet from the official websites, namely wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.
The official statement issued by the WBBSE reads, "This is for information of all concerned that the results of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) 2024 will be announced by the President, ad-hoc committee, WBBSE on 2nd May, 2024 at 9 AM through a press conference."
As per the official announcement, iresults.net, indiaresults.com, and other specified websites will also host the results. Additionally, mobile apps such as Madhyamik Results 2024, Madhyamik Result, and Fastresult will provide access to the results, all available for free download from the Google Play Store.
To download the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024, students can follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website, wbbse.wb.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the results tab and click on the link for West Bengal Madhyamik results.
3. Enter the correct login credentials, including the date of birth and roll number.
4. Click the submit button, and the WBBSE Madhyamik 2024 results will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download the West Bengal Class 10 Result 2024 scorecard and print it for future reference.
The West Bengal board class 10 exams were graded for 800 marks, with students needing to score 272 marks to pass. Schools will receive the WB Class 10 students' marksheets and certificates from the respective board camp offices starting at 10 AM. In 2023, 86.15 per cent of students passed the Madhyamik exams, marking a slight decrease from the pass percentage in 2022, when 86.60 per cent of candidates cleared the WB Class 10 board exam.
