"We encountered challenges early on. The batting partnership between Tilak and Nehal was exceptional. Despite losing early wickets, we didn't anticipate reaching 180. However, our inability to finish strongly left us 10-15 runs short. Our bowling lacked discipline, especially in the powerplay, and our fielding wasn't up to par. Overall, we didn't perform at our best, and Rajasthan Royals outplayed us," Pandya stated.

While certain players have yet to find their form this season, Pandya refrains from singling out individuals and opts for a collective approach to address the team's issues. He trusts in the professionalism of the players to recognize and rectify their mistakes independently.

"At this stage, it's not appropriate to approach players individually. Each player understands their responsibilities, and it's crucial for us to learn from our mistakes and strive for improvement. Progression is key, and we must acknowledge and work on our shortcomings," Pandya explained.

Despite Mumbai's fifth loss in eight matches, Pandya maintains faith in the team's composition and rules out major changes in the playing XI. He emphasizes the importance of consistency, adherence to plans, and avoiding basic errors as they navigate the crucial stages of the campaign.

"I prefer continuity over frequent alterations. It's essential to support our players and maintain focus on playing good cricket. As long as we stick to our plans and minimize mistakes, we can simplify the game and perform well," Pandya concluded.
