JEE Mains All India Rank 1 Achieved by Farmer's Son from Remote Maharashtra Village

Nilkrishna Gajare, hailing from Belkhed, a remote village in Maharashtra's Washim district, clinched the coveted All India Rank 1 in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains through sheer determination and hard work spanning the past two years. The results of the JEE Mains, administered by the National Testing Agency, were announced on Thursday.

Nilkrishna dedicated more than 10 hours daily to his preparation regimen, diligently adhering to a rigorous study schedule. His father, Nirmal Gajare, expressed profound joy over his son's remarkable achievement, stating that Nilkrishna had always exhibited academic prowess and excelled in sports, notably in archery at district and national levels.

The 19-year-old pursued his early education at Rajeshwar Convent in Akola and J C High School in Karanja Lad, Washim, residing with his aunt during that period. Currently, Nilkrishna is continuing his studies at Shree Dnyaneshwar Maskuji Burungale Science and Arts College in Shegaon.

Nilkrishna's daily routine involves waking up at 4 am for a two-hour study session followed by breathing exercises. He resumes studying at 8:30 am until 10 pm, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his academic pursuits. His father, filled with pride, aims to support his son's aspirations, emphasizing his desire for Nilkrishna to attain success beyond his own achievements.

Nilkrishna aspires to pursue further studies at IIT Bombay, nurturing ambitions of becoming a scientist. Currently stationed in Shegaon, he is gearing up for the JEE-Advanced examination scheduled for the following month, poised to surmount yet another milestone on his path to realizing his dreams.
