Nevertheless, Rayudu clarified his remarks regarding MI on social media platform X, stating that they were misconstrued. He highlighted MI's distinct processes and positive pressure, which contribute to a player's growth and success, evidenced by the talent the franchise has nurtured for India.

Expressing his gratitude for his eight-year stint at MI, Rayudu emphasized his appreciation for the franchise. With MI experiencing a challenging season under new captain Hardik Pandya, Rayudu urged the team to turn their fortunes around and secure victories swiftly.
